“Dr. Sherif Shaaban
A writer, novelist, art historian, and expert in ancient Egyptian antiquities, he received his PhD in Ancient Egyptian Art from Cairo University in 2013. He is a lecturer in art history at the Faculty of Archaeology, Cairo University. He also serves as the scientific advisor for Metatut, the first Egyptian city in virtual reality.
He has published numerous specialized articles in Egyptian and international newspapers and magazines, and has authored prominent literary and historical works, including the novels “”Daughter of Zion”” and “”Three Black Prophecies,”” as well as academic and historical books such as: *Bishops and Their Landscapes Throughout the Ages*, *Banquets and Feasts in Ancient Egypt and Greece*, *The Jews of Ancient Egypt*, *The Lost Prophet Akhenaten*, *Religion and Governance in Egypt*, *A King of Gold: The Secrets of King Tutankhamun*, and *A Journey to the Ancient East*.
He participated in translating and preparing a number of official books and catalogs for the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, most notably: the official catalog of the Hurghada Museum, the Museum of Civilization, the Royal Mummies Parade, and he also translated the book “”King Tut and the Tomb That Changed the World”” by Bob Prior.”
