Salma El Ghazawy
Salma El Ghazawy (born September 6, 1988, in Fez, Morocco is a Moroccan) writer and translator. She has published several novels and short story collections and has translated renowned French literary works, including both classical and contemporary literature.
She studied Law at Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah University in Fez, specifically in the Private Law department (French section). Her literary career began early with her first electronic publication titled *Diaries of a Hospital Inmate* in 2012, before she transitioned into journalism, contributing to various Moroccan media outlets.
In 2013, she worked as a journalist in the cultural section of the Moroccan newspaper *Al Akhbar* and wrote a weekly column titled “Forbidden for Men.” Later, she stepped away from journalism to devote herself fully to her literary works.
