Huda Anwar
Huda Anwar is a young Egyptian novelist who graduated from the Faculty of Economics and Political Science and studied in the Faculty of Arts, Department of Arabic Language, at Cairo University.
Huda received several awards in literature and short stories writing during her time at the university, but she paused writing for 16 years. After returning to writing, the idea of how to help writers return to writing after a long hiatus kept haunting her until she published her first novel,
after traveling to Saint Catherine, and she titled it “Sufi”. It took her 20 months to complete. Following this, she decided to share the experience that helped her overcome the writing hiatus with others. Huda Anwar went on to publish the novels “Halal Magic”, “Darwish”, and “Benjamin’s Manuscript”, which was released by Kayan Publishing House.
