Almar Nefling
He began his professional career in 1993 with a journalistic internship at the Westfälische Rundschau newspaper in Dortmund, publishing his first articles at the age of seventeen, which marked the beginning of his profound relationship with writing.
In 1998, he ventured into the world of football through a marketing project with Arminia Bielefeld, giving him his first real exposure to the football industry. In 2002, he earned his Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Paderborn. Since 2000, he has served as the Managing Director of a real estate company in Dortmund, managing assets across several German cities. Additionally, between 2009 and 2010, he was a guest lecturer at SRH University Heidelberg within the Sports Management Master’s program.
Since 2007, he has worked as a freelance writer specializing in sports and business, collaborating with various newspapers, magazines, and platforms. Moreover, he has gained prominence as an author of several books, including “Jürgen Klopp,” which has been translated into multiple languages. His career reflects a clear dedication to merging his passion for football with his expertise in management and business.
