This Novel talks about a very sensitive situation, Arab and muslim refugees life in France, how hard it can be to blend in with the French society with different ways, traditions, believes and religions.
It tells us about Jasmin the muslim girl with hijab (head-scarf) and what problems she faces because of that, and alternately the Moroccan Omar, who is a young scientist researching cold fusion to get clean energy source. but something goes wrong and an explosion happens, so he finds himself facing jail time as a terrorist.
And Raneem the liberal Egyptian girl who are already lived her life as one of the society defending Omar as she believes he is not a terrorist.
