Description

“The book consists of three main chapters:

Chapter One: The Conquest of America
This chapter provides a comprehensive history of the United States, exploring how this superpower emerged over five centuries, starting from 1492, the same year as the fall of Andalusia. It discusses the gradual occupation and obliteration of Native American lands until they almost completely vanished. The chapter then shifts focus to the history of Palestine, explaining the Nakba, the origins of Fatah and Hamas, the Oslo Accords, and pondering whether Palestine will face a fate similar to that of the Native Americans. It also covers the current situation in Gaza, providing a complete overview of the history of resistance, including the rise of figures like Yahya Al-Sinwar and the ongoing conflicts.

Chapter Two: Malcolm X
Malcolm X’s life is detailed, from his early days as a criminal with no future to his conversion to Islam in prison and becoming a significant figure in the Nation of Islam. He transformed into one of the most important Islamic preachers of the 20th century, instrumental in converting a large number of Americans to Islam. Malcolm X played a crucial role in the presence of many Muslims in pro-Palestine demonstrations. He was like an elder brother to Muhammad Ali, the world boxing champion. Over time, Malcolm realized the corruption within the Nation of Islam and its shift from religious preaching to commerce, leading to his separation from the organization after uncovering the betrayal and lies of its founder and his spiritual father, Elijah Muhammad. This chapter recounts the dramatic story of his departure, the greater pain of being betrayed by Muhammad Ali, his younger brother who had believed in him, supported him, protected him, and then turned against him and abandoned him as soon as he became world champion. This chapter recounts his subsequent assassination in Harlem, New York, in 1965, an event etched into America’s collective memory.

Chapter Three: Muhammad Ali
This chapter revisits some of the previous stories but from a different perspective, adding more depth. It explores whether influential athletes and celebrities should take a stand on important issues or remain silent and focused solely on their careers. It questions if Muhammad Ali, were he alive today, would speak out about Gaza or remain silent. Ali’s refusal to participate in the Vietnam War, sacrificing three prime years of his career for his stance, cemented his status as the most important athlete in history, earning him the title of Sports Personality of the Century in 2000. The chapter delves into what made him the best boxer, why he took such a bold stand, why he embraced Islam as a religion against slavery, his fallout with Malcolm X, and his enduring regret over this betrayal until his last day. This engaging and dramatic narrative is packed with unknown facts about well-known figures, providing a rich and captivating story.”
