“Alaa Madbouly, the famous author, heads to Alexandria to escape a failed love story, in search for a new novel idea. There, he receives a strange invitation from the doorman of the mysterious (Myrtle) apartments building, which appeared out of nowhere, raising many questions among the people of Alexandria. He accepts the offer, pursuing the plot of his new novel.

During their first dinner together, the owner of the building tells him that they are time travelers from the year 1898, a year lost to history. They are here because of a prophecy that says he is the only one capable of stopping an English serial killer who murdered 12 young women over four nights in that lost year. They want him to go back to that year to prevent the killer from committing his crimes and save Myrtle, the daughter of the building’s owner and a relative of the residents. In return, they will give him the chance to change one historical event. He agrees, in order to go back in time and avoid betraying his fiancée, Emy, who left him.”
