In line with the first and second parts, the third part of the series “Nobody Learns from History” delves into the power struggles in both Syria and Iraq. It begins with the Arab Revolt initiated by Sharif Hussein bin Ali Al-Hashimi in Mecca and traces the founding of the four kingdoms in Najd, Jordan, Syria, and Iraq. The book also deals with the history of the monarchy in Iraq, the historical ambitions in Kuwait, and the game of musical chairs between the militarians of Syria until the establishment and fall of the United Arab Republic, until the rule of Saddam Hussein.
