The story revolves around “Reema” the Muslim girl from Tunisia, she lost her parents, her mother’s last words to her Jewish neighbor “Jacob” that he raises her as a muslim, the young girl grows older and start to wear the hijab “head scarf” and begin to treat “Jacob” as a stranger, “Tania” his wife then asks him to choose between “Reema” who he loved as his own children and her. so he sends her to his sister “Rachel” in Lebanon, things get complicated when she have to relocate because of “Rachel’s” husband who mistreat her. so she lives with “Rachel’s” friend “Sonia”who used to live in Tunisia too but escaped her abusive husband with her two daughters “Nada” and “Dana” to Kana – Lebanon. then all there lives get really complicated.
